Overview
On-air branding and TV ident design for Gardeners' World, the BBC's longest-running gardening programme, first broadcast in 1968 and now in its 56th series. The show airs on BBC Two every Friday between March and October, consistently performing as one of the channel's strongest factual titles. The ident needed to feel contemporary while respecting the programme's heritage.
My Contribution
• Designed the TV ident and on-air branding elements for the programme
• Worked within BBC brand guidelines and broadcast technical specifications
• Ensured the visual identity worked consistently across broadcast, BBC iPlayer, and promotional applications
• Collaborated with the production and brand teams to align the ident with the show's editorial direction
